A partner is a profile for any supplier, vendor, or business that you pay through SiFi. Creating a partner takes less than a minute — only the partner's name is required to get started.
💡 Who can do this: Anyone with the Make payments permission. Creating partners is currently available on the web at my.sifi.sa. Mobile support is coming soon.
Before you begin
- Have the partner's legal name ready — this should match the name registered to their bank account
- Know whether the partner is a Business (company, supplier) or Individual (freelancer, contractor).
Add a new partner
- Go to Payments → Partners in the left sidebar.
- Click Add Partner in the top right corner.
- Choose the partner type:
| Type | When to use |
|---|
| Business | The partner is a registered company, supplier, or vendor |
| Individual | The partner is a person — freelancer, contractor, or sole proprietor |
The partner type helps organize your directory. It does not affect which payment methods are available.
- Enter the partner's name (required).
⚠️ Important: Enter the name exactly as it appears on the partner's bank account. A mismatch may cause verification to fail or transfers to be rejected.
- Add a partner alias (optional) — an internal label only your team sees. Examples: "Office Rent," "Monthly IT Support," "Q2 Catering."
- Set the country. This determines which transfer methods are available and auto-fills the phone country code.
- Add contact information (optional):
| Field | Purpose |
|---|
| Mobile phone | You can add multiple numbers. Country code auto-fills. |
| Email | You can add multiple addresses. |
| City / District | Partner's location |
| Street / Building | Required for some international transfers |
💡 Tip: Completing the address is especially helpful for SWIFT transfers, where the beneficiary address may be required by the receiving bank.
- Click Add Partner.
After you add a partner
Your partner is created and you'll see their profile page with a completeness bar at the top. This tracks how much information is filled in:
- Partner name and type
- Contact information (phone, email)
- Address details
- At least one active payment method
Completing the profile helps reduce failed transfers and speeds up payment approvals. You don't need to fill everything now — come back anytime.
