Roles & permissions for Partner Payments
Who can do what in Partner Payments depends on each person's role and your company's settings. This article explains the permissions that control partners and payments.
Permissions at a glance
Your company's admin decides what each teammate can do. Typical capabilities include:
| Capability | What it allows |
|---|
| Make payments | Create partners, add payment methods, and start payments |
| Approve payments | Review and approve payments others submit |
| Manage policies | Set approval rules and spending controls |
| View only | See partners and payment history without making changes
|
💡 Note: Exact role names and what each can do are configured by your company. If you can't see an action described in these guides, you may not have the permission for it — ask an admin.
Permissions work with approvals
Having permission to make payments doesn't always mean a payment is sent immediately. Your company may require an approver to review it first. See Approvals & payment policies.
Changing what someone can do
Admins manage roles from their SiFi workspace settings. To change your own or a teammate's access, contact an admin.
