Subscription Management in SiFi

Subscription Management in SiFi

Subscription Management helps you track, monitor, and control recurring business expenses such as software tools, platforms, and service subscriptions automatically and in one place.

Instead of manually tracking subscriptions across cards, invoices, and spreadsheets, SiFi detects recurring transactions and gives your finance team a single source of truth.

What is Subscription Management?

Subscription Management in SiFi automatically identifies recurring merchant transactions (monthly, quarterly, or annual) and groups them as subscriptions.

This allows you to:

  • See all subscriptions in one consolidated view

  • Understand ongoing financial commitments

  • Track monthly and yearly subscription spend

  • Detect inactive or failed subscriptions early

How subscriptions are detected

SiFi automatically detects subscriptions based on:

  • Repeated transactions with the same merchant

  • Consistent billing intervals (monthly, annual, etc.)

  • Similar transaction amounts over time

Once a recurring pattern is confirmed, the subscription will appear on your Subscription Management dashboard.

Note: You do not need to manually add subscriptions.

Subscription statuses explained

Each subscription is categorized into one of the following statuses:

✅ Active

  • A recurring transaction is detected

  • Payments are occurring as expected

⚠️ Failed

  • A subscription payment failed

  • This could be due to insufficient balance, expired card, or blocked payment method

⏸ Inactive

  • The subscription was previously active

  • No recent recurring payment has been detected

These statuses help finance teams quickly identify risk, waste, or required action.

Dashboard overview

The Subscription Management dashboard gives you:

📊 Spend insights

  • Last month spend – Total subscription spend in the previous month

  • Current month spend – Subscription spend for the ongoing month

📋 All subscriptions view

  • A consolidated list of all detected subscriptions

  • Filter by Active, Failed, or Inactive

  • Quickly understand total ongoing commitments

Why no subscriptions may appear yet

If you see “No subscriptions detected yet”, this usually means:

  • No recurring merchant patterns have been identified yet

  • Transactions are too recent to confirm a pattern

  • Subscriptions were paid only once so far

The system will automatically populate this section once enough data is available.

If you believe a subscription should appear but doesn’t, you can raise a support ticket for review.
