Forgot your password or want to update it for security reasons? Here’s everything you need to know about resetting your password in SiFi.

Notes⚠️ Note: You cannot reset or change the password of other users β€” only your own.


πŸ”„ Resetting Your Password


For Active Users (Forgot Password)

You can reset your password from both desktop and mobile:

  1. Go to the SiFi Login page on your browser or mobile device.

  2. Click Forgot password?

  3. Enter your registered email address and click Reset Password.

  4. Enter the following details for identity verification:

    • Mobile number

    • National ID / Iqama / Border Number

    • Date of birth

  5. You’ll receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.

  6. Enter the OTP β†’ Set your new password β†’ Confirm it.


βœ… Once confirmed, your password is reset and you can log in with the new one.


For Logged-In Users (Change Password)

If you are already logged in:

  1. Go to Profile Settings.

  2. Select Change Password.

  3. Enter OTP

  4. Enter your current password, then create and confirm a new one.


βš™οΈ Troubleshooting Common Issues


  • Issue: Unable to submit reset form / redirected to login.

    • βœ… Solution: Try using a desktop/laptop instead of a tablet or mobile.

  • Issue: OTP not received.

    • βœ… Solution: Check if your registered mobile number is correct and has network coverage. Resend OTP if available.

  • Issue: New password rejected.

    • βœ… Solution: Ensure it meets SiFi password criteria (see below).

When creating a new password, ensure it meets all criteria:

  • Minimum 8 characters

  • At least 1 lowercase letter

  • At least 1 uppercase letter

  • At least 1 number

  • At least 1 special character (!, @, #, $, etc.)

  • Never share your password with anyone β€” not even SiFi staff.
  • Enable 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) if available.

  • Avoid guessable passwords (names, birthdays, company names).

  • Change passwords periodically (e.g., every 3–6 months).

  • Don’t reuse passwords from other accounts (e.g., email, social media).
