Forgot your password or want to update it for security reasons? Hereβs everything you need to know about resetting your password in SiFi.
β οΈ Note: You cannot reset or change the password of other users β only your own.You can reset your password from both desktop and mobile:
Go to the SiFi Login page on your browser or mobile device.
Click Forgot password?
Enter your registered email address and click Reset Password.
Enter the following details for identity verification:
Mobile number
National ID / Iqama / Border Number
Date of birth
Youβll receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
Enter the OTP β Set your new password β Confirm it.
β Once confirmed, your password is reset and you can log in with the new one.
If you are already logged in:
Go to Profile Settings.
Select Change Password.
Enter OTP
Enter your current password, then create and confirm a new one.
β Solution: Try using a desktop/laptop instead of a tablet or mobile.
Issue: OTP not received.
β Solution: Check if your registered mobile number is correct and has network coverage. Resend OTP if available.
Issue: New password rejected.
β Solution: Ensure it meets SiFi password criteria (see below).
When creating a new password, ensure it meets all criteria:
Minimum 8 characters
At least 1 lowercase letter
At least 1 uppercase letter
At least 1 number
At least 1 special character (!, @, #, $, etc.)
Enable 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) if available.
Avoid guessable passwords (names, birthdays, company names).
Use a password manager to generate and securely store unique passwords.
Change passwords periodically (e.g., every 3β6 months).
Donβt reuse passwords from other accounts (e.g., email, social media).
Log out from shared devices and never save your password in public computers.
If you suspect compromise, reset immediately and notify support@sifi.sa.
