Log in to your SiFi account.
From the left navigation menu, click People.
Find the user whose role you want to update.
Click on the Options (…) menu next to their name.
Select Update Role.
Choose the new role from the list.
Click Save to confirm.
Admins can upgrade:
Employee → Finance Manager
HR Manager → Finance Manager
Accountant → Finance Manager
Employee → Accountant or HR Manager
Finance Managers can upgrade:
Employee → Accountant
Employee → HR Admin
Employee → Transfer Initiator
The Transfer Initiator is not a standalone role, it is an additional permission that can be granted to a user.
Typically assigned to someone managing Accounts Payable (AP) in the company.
Permissions include:
Creating beneficiaries
Creating transfer requests
All transfers created by a Transfer Initiator are still subject to approval under your company’s transfer approval policy.
