Delete a Beneficiary

Delete a Beneficiary

Overview

You can delete a beneficiary at any time from your SiFi account. This may be useful if the beneficiary is no longer needed or was added by mistake. Deleting a beneficiary does not affect past transactions—they’ll still show the original beneficiary details.

Steps to Delete a Beneficiary

  1. Log in to SiFi 🔑

    • Open your SiFi web or mobile app.

  2. Go to Transfers 💳

    • From the main menu, click Transfers.

  3. Open Beneficiaries 👤

    • Select the Beneficiaries tab to see your saved list.

  4. Choose Beneficiary

    • Find the beneficiary you want to remove.

  5. Delete 🗑️

    • Click the Delete button (bin icon) next to their name.

    • Confirm the deletion when prompted.

What Happens After Deletion

  • 🗂️ The beneficiary is permanently removed from your account.

  • 📜 Past transactions linked to that beneficiary will still display their details for record-keeping.

  • 🔄 If needed, you can add the same beneficiary again in the future.

Notes

Best Practices

  • Double-check before deleting to avoid re-adding frequently used beneficiaries.

  • If a beneficiary is inactive but may be used later, consider keeping them instead of deleting.
