How to create transfer (Auto fill invoice to pay)

You can create a transfer by simply uploading an invoice. SiFi automatically extracts key details using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and prepares the transfer for approval. This speeds up payments and reduces manual entry errors.

How It Works

📄 Upload Invoice → 🔎 OCR Auto-Fill → ✅ Review & Submit → 👩‍💼 Approval Cycle → 🔐 OTP Confirmation → 💸 Transfer Paid or Failed

Steps to Create a Transfer from an Invoice

  1. Upload Invoice

    • Go to Transfers → New Transfer.

    • Drag and drop or upload your invoice file.

  2. OCR Auto-Fill

    • The system will automatically extract major fields:

      • Invoice Number

      • Invoice Date

      • Due Date

      • TRN (Tax Registration Number)

      • IBAN

    • If the IBAN matches an existing beneficiary, it will auto-link.

    • If the IBAN does not exist, you’ll be prompted to add a new beneficiary.

    • Line items from the invoice will also be displayed for review.

  3. Submit for Approval

    • Review the auto-filled details.

    • Click Submit to move the transfer into the approval workflow.

Approval & Processing

  • Approval Flow: The request follows your company’s defined approval cycle.

  • Final Approval: At the last approval stage, an OTP (One-Time Password) is required to confirm the payment.

  • Transfer Status:

    • Paid → Once processed successfully

    • Failed → If processing is unsuccessful (funds are automatically refunded to your account)

Receipts & Notifications

  • 📑 For Paid Transfers:

    • A payment receipt will be available in the transfer’s Detail View.

    • You’ll also receive a confirmation email.

  • ❌ For Failed Transfers:

    • The transaction status will update to Failed.

    • Funds will be refunded automatically.

    • You’ll be notified via email.

Best Practices

  • Always double-check the auto-filled fields before submitting.

  • Ensure beneficiaries are activated before initiating large-value transfers.

  • Use the payment receipt in the detail view for record-keeping and reconciliation.
